Which Sure Fire (E2, C2, M2, Z2, 6P)

A lot of people like the Brinkmann Legend LX because it is a bright light for a reasonable price. Those who've never used a lithium powered torch will be especially impressed. The Brinkmann is slightly brighter than the SF E2 or 6P, that's simply because the bulb pulls more wattage. But remember the trade off with run time. In this sense I believe the E2 is a champ, blending good output with an impressive 75 min run time (25% longer than the 6P). Also, the E2 is the smallest form factor 2x123A light out there (which is a big plus for me).

The SF purists will of course comment about the build quality of the Brinkmann. What do you expect for a $20 torch made in Macau? Definitely the Brinkmann is not on par with SF in terms of build quality, but for the average joe (not some LEO or tactical user) the Brinkmann is a good alternative. Those with higher demands would prefer the SF.
