Which tip/point for CS Recon 1?

Heads up, have only one "problem" with my recon 1.
It's making a rattling noise which I believe is coming from a pin for the lock.
I'm going to take it apart soon and see what I can do.

I really don't encounter any tasks a tanto can't take care of quite handily. It's not my favorite blade shape, and it has some disadvantages, but it also has some fairly unique advantages that can be quite useful.

oh, don't get me wrong... you can get a tanto to do whatever you need. In my opinion it just does average tasks worse than most of the other "usual" tip designs on the whole, with a few exceptions.
