Go with the RR.
That Gunstock is a beauty, and I am planning on getting one as well.
I think if you buy a Case, and don't like it, you'll regret spending all that money for nothing.
Play it smart. Get an RR, spend just a few dollars, take it for a spin, and see if you like it or not.
If you don't, no harm done.
If you DO like it, you have a great user in the Gunstock RR, and you can always get a Case in the future.
It's not like they are going anywhere, you know?
If you don't have a lot of money, go for the RR.
You won't regret it.

Haha, Some people say get the RR, and some say get the Case. Honestly, i think i am only going to be happy with the Case. Something about that name is more satisfying than the RR name. You know what i mean?

Yep, so my decision is made. I'm gonna go with the Case!

Good choice, young man! While the size of the peanut may or may not suit you, I don't know anyone who doesn't like Cases' Chestnut Bone.

Wish Case made the peanut in that Chestnut bone in a 3-5/8" size and CV. It would be like the Texas Jack, only with a more smooth and ergonomic handle. I've got one, and I carry it, but I'm not big on square bolsters.

Hmmmm. It mostly comes down to what pattern you like better and will use more. The peanut'll be more of a gentlemen's knife (although there are some on this forum that can get a peanut to do more than you or I could a machete) and the gunstock will be more of an all around useful knife. If it came down to brands. Some may say don't get the RR, but you won't hear a single person say don't get the Case!
