Hey guys, for once I have a choice between two knives both available at the same time and hell I'm stumped. Help me choose!

The CruCarta has full liners, so if you plan on getting aftermarket scales there will be considerably less option.

I prefer leaving my Spydies stock and I would choose the CruCarta first, then get the Salt later.

I chose the Salt model - I like the feel of the special finished G-10, Magnacut steel, and the all-black look (all-black is not really important though). I think it's a close call, because I like the micarta and CruWear steel of the CruCarta version too. Both grip materials feel good, but different. Magnacut is more stainless, so I probably lean a little toward Magnacut. Both are great knives!

I would choose salt but that is because I am highly adverse to patina. That being said I did not like the way the salt scales felt and quickly put AWTs on my military 2 salt

(Can't lose either way though.)
This. Even my "boring" s30v manix XL is amazing, it's in my pocket right now with its upgraded cage and lighter spring and it feels very premium.

At the end of the day, the same advice I give when purchasing a motorcycle: don't base your purchase off what's most logical but buy the one that speaks to YOUR heart.
