Or have you given for Hanukah?

I'm giving my father an old Utica Purina small stockman. My little brother is getting a big Wrangler stockman, made in Providence RI, among a plethora of other knives. Three backsprings, something I've never seen before. A friend of mine is getting a Jim Parker Japanese made single blade jackknife. A family friend, who saves old kitchen knives from certain destruction, is getting a very old Case chromium kitchen knife.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

My mom's guy is 70. I got him a Buck 373 stockman.

I got an early present today from my roomy and it was one of those collector edition Buck knife sits they are selling at Walmart. It contained a 301 and 307. Both were very nice with medium spring pull, razor sharp blades, and the F&F was pretty good on them. The stockman had an very slight gap in the liner. I'll provide photo when I can. Hopefully Santa brings me more knives and I can do a new family photo of them for you all to see. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone! :)

Perfessr, my folks live in Carlisle...just a side note. Spent a lot of time and done a lot of fishing in your neck of the woods. My grandparents lived in Elizabethtown until they died.

Anyway, only giving one knife. My wife's uncle is one of those vanishing breed...holds a record at the Bonneville Salt Flats, built and flies a plane he made from scratch. Got him a Case Stockman in old classic yellow.

the flawless bladeforums 2010 Queen Ebony Moose that i received in the mail today! He's not a knife nut really but he'll get a kick out of it since its special and his kid did the artwork:) He does carry the Yeller CV peanut i got for him a few years ago. thing has survived alot and about a half dozen trips through the wash:eek: he will be gently encouraged to not try washing the moose!
cheers

One of my sons is getting a Buck 55. He really likes the 110 I got him last year, but wanted something similar that could be carried comfortably in a pocket.

I also threw a few ratchet knives, ScrewPop tools, and bandanas (all of which I bought in bulk) in the backpack I keep nearby me, in case I unexpectedly run into anyone that deserves a gift. I've been using bandanas instead of wrapping paper a lot. They get something useful instead of contributing to the landfill.

I'm giving the Desert Storm model of the Case Trapper "War" series to a good friend.

He served our country (and us) in Desert Storm so he warrants this special knife.

Merry Christmas to all.

My two best buddies / bandmates are getting: one a Case med stockman in cv and the other a Case small stockman. Both are amber bone I think. They better like 'em.:)

A little pearl peanut for my Grand daughter and a Congress in stag bone for my Son in law. And three whittler for me ;-))

Best regards and a very merry Christmas to all.

For various reasons, we celebrate in October.

I gave a Buck 301 to an old friend.

I gave a Kabar USMC knife to one of my pastors. He'd had a Camillus when he led a Marine rifle platoon in 'Nam in the '60's. He'd given it to one of his guys when he came home and a while back he'd told me he sometimes missed it. The Kabar was as close as I could get in a new knife.

Using a bandana instead of paper! What a great idea, thanks!!!

Sent my nephew a Case/Tony Bose Back Pocket in ebony. My sons are getting a stag peanut and a stag tiny toothpick.

No one's getting any traditional knives from me for Christmas! Bah! Humbug!
I'm keeping them all to myself! :D

Well, oddly enough, I'm not gifting any knives this year. What the heck is wrong with me? Lots of other gifts just no knives.
