which would be a better edc

my $0.02

i prefer to edc a Leatherman Wave to any single blade folder.

a pliers based multi-tool has many more uses than any single blade folder.

The Gaucho's blade shape is definitely not my idea of EDC friendly. I'd go for the Lum between those two.

I have both of these without the serrations.

I regularly carry the M4 Gaucho - skip the serrations as the design doesn't need them. And you can find the non-serrated version for about $139. If you don't like the "tanto", just sharpen as you would any regular folder and it'll eventually go away.

I like the handle shape and length of the 760, but dislike the thin handle slabs and resultant lock strength. Flexy.

hi, wow!, thanks for all the comments...i'm leaning toward the gaucho now, plain edged. and no, i wont be buying from kc, i just used the links from there. chose those two for the cpm-m4, but i might be getting a spyderco military next.

@clockman: thanks for the tips and the site!

I have a gaucho plain edge. I don't edc it though. The blade shape isn't idealfor edc tasks. And it's a pain to sharpen. But I like it better than your other choice
