Which would you buy?

I was considering those 3 knives myself. I chose the 940-1. I just love how light it is and how useful the blade shape is. It is just an incredible knife. As others have said, it is important to try to handle them before you buy.

Absolutely wonderful choice. Though I love my Umnumzaan as my new EDC, I used to EDC my 940-1 for many years. It practically disappears from all thought until you need it in the pocket, and can be used for almost any task. My only, tiny complaint is that it is difficult to sharpen. I still kept it due to nostalgia, and will likely never sell it.

I was told the pivot of the Inkosi requires less break in, is more smooth, and will require less trips to the spa over time...BUT, it’s my gut that says inkosi. I’d prefer to go 21 if there’s any reason to, as I can find them way more readily on the for sale here than Inkosis, and save some money!

I'm not sure why the 21 would require more spa trips. In general I think 90% or more of spa trips are just for simple scale re-tumble due to wear from use/carry. If anything I would think the bushing on the 21, given its ease of cleaning and disassembly, would require very minimal spa services.

I haven't read this whole thread through, but I agree with @palonej 's and @T.L.E. Sharp 's takes on the small Seb. I liked everything about my small 21 with cocobolo except for the fit in hand. Of my 8 CRKs all are larges save for my Mnandi and I can't say enough good things about them. $350 can get you are real nice full-size 21 or 25 off the Exchange and you could probably find a deal on a Plain Jane Inkosi.

Here's my new little guy that fits me great, though you won't find one anywhere within your budget unless you get one off the Big Auction Site for $19.95. ;)
