If you had to choose between a Buck 110, any of the Byrds or any SAK, which one would you EDC? I would say for me its a hard choice.:jerkit:

Oh shucks, I'll play.

Buck 110 is too big for me to EDC. Haven't seen a Byrd that struck my fancy yet. That leaves a Vic. Probably something like a Centurion.

Same here: SAK. 110 is definitely too big. Might go for the 112, but it's still big and heavy. No interest in the Byrds.

Although it almost kills me to pass on the 110, for pocket EDC an SAK...most likely a Farmer or Tinker.

If I had to pick just one, it would be a Byrd G-10 Meadowlark. It's an excellent EDC knife. I'm quite fond of the Robin as well.

I would go to SAK no doubt. I carry a Trekker or Locksmith, along with a locking blade both have tools and all in a light weight package. Byrds no way buck 110 good folding hunter, but for same weight a locksmith has a saw and file along with other tools one might need.

Well they are all good choices for EDC (trustworthy and dependable), but it looks like the SAK's have a lead from most of you so far.

One is none, two is too few, three is the best for me. :)

The Buck is a great knife ... WAS a great knife. I agree it's going to be too heavy for ordinary carry.

I always like to have a SAK around, but unless I'm carrying a backpack or bailout bag, I'll settle for my symbolic SAK, a Vic Classic.

I don't have a Byrd, but I do carry one of my many Spydies or something similar.

SAK.

As I type this I have a cobalt blue Victorinox Climber in my pocket. Does everything I need and then some.

I love the Buck 110 but it's too big and heavy for EDC. I don't like the Byrds at all.

Well, I do EDC a Buck 110. No interest in the others. On occasion I carry blades other than the 110, but I always come back to it. Nothing works better for my uses.

I would take a SAK foreseter, it has a liner lock for the main blade and a saw and other useful tools. Then the 110 the bird line was not my cup of tea, I heald them but just wasnt me. Besides a sak with a liner lock is the bee's knee's
