which would you EDC?

G-10 meadowlark. (read my post in this section by that name). Yeah, didn't like the looks of the knife, but I went for it anyway. I now EDC it at work and I love it.

Buck is sweet, nothing wrong there.

SAK's: I guess I'm the opposite from most here. SAK's just are not for me, I don't like them, they just don't feel right.

Have you held all of them in your hand? It's going to be a hugely personal choice. I love the Meadowlark, but you've read here that some don't like it at all. SAK's are popular and many here love them, but I'll never carry one. Get your hands on all of them, open 'em close 'em, put 'em in your pocket and pull 'em out. Then decided on your own.

Hope that helps.

I'd go with the SAK.

The 110 as stated is a great knife. It's also too heavy (for me). That, and the lack of one handed opening takes it off my list. The SAK, depending on the model, may not have the one hand opening feature, but it's other tools, and relative lightness make up for that.

Having said this, I normally carry a Benchmade or Spyderco.

Out of the 3, i would choose the 110. I've carried one off and on for years now. Although i'm interested in getting a 112. A 110 might get unwanted attention in the city and the 55 is way too small. My next choice would be a SAK farmer.

As said before---Benchmade or Spyderco-----trust me on this.

I've got several 110's and SAK's including 2 OHT's----once you get a Benchmade or Spyderco all the others will fall by the wayside and find a permenant home in the sock drawer.

Prefered lower cost models are the full size Griptilian and/or Endura.
