Yep. If I have to bet my life on a knife, you'd better believe it will be constructed of Jerry Busse's 52100 (SR101). When toughness, strength, edge-taking, edge-holding, ease of sharpening and affordability are all taken into consideration, it's an unbeatable cutlery alloy that's suitable for neckers to choppers. The only thing lacking is corrosion resistance. But that's a small (and manageable) price to pay in comparison to what you get in return. That's why I keep a Camp Tramp in my home BOB and a RatManDu in my vehicle BOB. And it's why no other knives mentioned in this thread (or anywhere else, for that matter) have any chance at all of displacing them.Swamp Rat Camp Tramp for me...although I've been using my Battle Rat a lot too...love 'em!
