While waiting for HT, Saturday project got out of control!

All of this has been experimental - until now. The press works great. I think the need for speed has been a bit over stated. I heated my kydex in my BBQ, walked across my yard, aligned it on my knife, dropped the press and locked it. Best I could tell I could have taken more time. (I let the kydex cook at 300 deg. for 5 minutes (.06))

Here are some pictures. BTW, the first piece I scrapped because I cut it too small. It does show some nice detail, however.

I decided on a flat-one-side approach, so left out the bottom foam. That piece of kydex the knife is lying on is the bottom piece, not the molded one.

This sheath is for a lefty.

I was going to suggested a rope and cinder block to keep the pressure on?
