So, while i've been waiting for the hest folder i've bought a few other folders lately. thought i would start a thread to see what everyone else is carrying.

kershaw tyrade, zt350, benchmade griptillian, benchmade h&k, buck vantage, and a old david yellow horse buck.

take it easy

I carry a CRK&T M-16 Bigdog. I like it a lot except for the serrated blade and the tanto tip. I want another BM Griptillian.

Weekends I usually carry an old BG42 Sebenza Classic, along with a Swisschamp, and a slipjoint.

At work, I carry an Izula, a Swisstool, and some other folder. I lost my Endura, so I have been carrying a beater Native...just knives that I dont care about.

I have moved away from my folders lately.
I'm carrying one of these fixed blades - ESEE 4, RC 3, HEST fixed, Izula or Scrap Yard Dumpster Mutt.

Why the original HEST, of course. :)

sorry Dave...it was too easy!!!! lol!

I own one folder type knife (spyderco military)
but don't carry it daily or use it much. HEST or Izula for me is EDC.

we'll see if the Hest/f can change my habits when it comes....

As far as folders go, I might have a SOG Trident, a Camillus Heat, or a Cold Steel Recon 1 on me at any given time. But my Izula is always with me and my 3-MIL is never far away.

I got a ZT 0301 2 weeks ago, which replaced a m16-13DSFG, ill probably dual carry the ZT and HEST/F till i deem one more suitable than the other

I have moved away from my folders lately.

Same here, however with the new buzz about the HEST/F yesterday I decided to slip my Kershaw RAM in my pocket today. I also have an Emerson Mini-com but I think that's ready to go in the For Sale section.

I carry either a large Sebenza 21 or a Cold Steel American Lawman and pair it with either a SAK Farmer or Leatherman Charge depending.

I carry a Syderco Tenacious and will stick with that for some time. The HEST folder may be out of my price range.

I don't usually carry fixed blades on a daily basis. My Emerson CQC7B is my daily go-to, and I've been using the BM930 Kulgera a lot as well - I love the action on that knife.

My Emerson has been my EDC for the past 3 years, and it's served me very well. It's a hard use knife indeed. I'm really looking forward to the HEST/F tho! I'm, feeling I'm gonna like it better than the Emerson :)

One thing that bugs me about the Emmy is the wrong-sided grind. Sure it may not matter in a self-defense / fighting situation what side of the knife the grind is on... but I use the knife for so many more things, it should have a good, useful grind for other applications as well - a problem which the HEST/F will definitely address ;)

I switch between my Blade Tech professional Hunter and my Benchmade Dejavoo
today is the BM turn

I EDC a Spyderco Delica 4 and am quite happy with it. I won't be getting a H.E.S.T./F I already have a perfectly good fixed blade, why ruin it with an opening mechanism? Like some of the others on here the Izy could potentially rout out my folder carry. The more I think about it, I can spend about $50 (about minimum) or more to get any kind of good folder, which will last, but need foldery maintenance and have foldery limitations, or spend $50 on the Izula (which I did) and enjoy a solid knife, with lifetime warranty that can do all that the folders do and more!

God bless,
Adam

Generally either my Regular sebenza with a barryh g10 scale or my umnumzaan.

Really looking forward to my HEST/F

An OD Izula. After 2 izzies found my house, i havent used my Buck 110 much. Should give that some attention, its probably getting lonely.

Spyderco Manix 2. Got an orange one on the way, and now I find myself wanting a Sage 2. I'm on a spydie kick at the moment.
