while waiting on the hest folder what do you use

Lately I have been testing the SRM 710 to see if it is what it was cracked up to be. Holding up great lately for what I need. (This comes along with the Izula or Koyote at all times)

My vic farmer is always with me, too.

for the most part my main folders are the spyderco paramilitary and CRK small sebenza. cant wait to put my hest/f into the fray :D

Right now my EDC is a Emerson Mini-Commander and LaGriffe. I rotate the Mini Commander with a Emerson CQC-14, Buck 882, Spyderco Chinook III, and a Spyderco Endura Wave depending on if I want something bigger or smaller. When I carry the Spyderco I also carry a Spyderco Swick instead of the LaGriffe.

Svord Peasant. I can't get enough of this folder-the steel and heat treat are perfect, and if you convex out the secondary bevel it's an insane slicer. The steady drop point and big belly design is ideal and only mimicked by one or two custom makers-IMO, nobody makes a factory modern folder that is truly ideal for bushcraft. My other go-to bushcraft folder is a Kabar 1184.

Only three folders I still own - sold off the rest bc they never got used...

The only folders I carry now are my spyderco endura 4 and a SAK alox soldier. I don't carry them much anymore since I got my izula. I still carry my victorinox spirit tool everywhere in my maxpedition edc.

I've been carrying a Zero Tolerance 0350 for a while now and it's been the best folder that I've carried so far.

That is the Insingo version of the Sebenza. I'm pretty sure it's exclusive to knifeart.com.

that is correct. I have both the large and mini seb insignio. They are great knives.:thumbup:

but i still want my hest folders:D

Oh hey wait, what happened to my Izula folder:eek::cool:

i have to say that i love my sog flash ii. i have never had a problem with it. i don't really put it through any heavy use, but it's been a trust pocket tool and i seem to be that guy that's always got a knife on him when somebody needs it. anyway, my favorite feature of the knife by far is the clip. the way the clip is designed allows it to sit down in your pocket so that all you see is the clip. i love the fact that it conceals easily.
i've been looking at the hest folder and wondering why everyone is so stoked about it. no offense, but by getting a hest folder, you lose two of the selling points of the original hest. i'm not trying to knock it, but i am trying to figure out what the appeal is. well, besides the fact that it's a folder from a great company that makes great knives with a great warranty. ;)
