I forgot to mention a hole drilled near the edge of the plough disk, to sit onto the pin. When the food is cooked, you swivel the disk away from the fire.

Kanak, I wish I could say we did anything fun in scouts, but I had a pansy ass den mother who thought crafts were the end all to cub scouting. It got better when I was a Webelo. We had a pretty good scout leader then. I got my Arrow of Light and decided I had had enough. Now I wish I had gone on for my Eagle Scout stuff. Oh well, the regrets that can never be addressed.

LOL, I was lucky that my den mother had a cool husband so we still had the craft part but also the pine wood derby, wood carving, etc..
I was also lucky that I had good scout masters that helped me to keep interest, along with my mom , to aid me in becoming an eagle scout. Im real glad they stuck with me or I know I would have regret not sticking it out
