This one is sold! Thanks!

*The light was cooperating today, so I've added some better photos. They came out far better than the previous set!*

This is my “Whiplash” tanto. If you are looking for an extremely lightweight knife that is highly optimized for efficient cutting, this is it. When designing the Whiplash, I wanted to make a blade that was extremely light weight and well balanced. This blade is very fast in the hand, and cuts phenomenally well.

The blade is made from differentially heat treated 1095 steel, with an HRC of 60. I performed all heat treating operations. The hamon is spectacular, and probably one of the best I've done in a long time. The blade features an extremely high double hollow grind. This results in a very thin cross section that allows for effortless cutting.

The handle is exceptionally comfortable in either standard or reverse grip. The blade balances right at the turk's head knot. The wrap is nylon and is impregnated with epoxy to prevent unraveling or moisture retention. The under wrap is a choice piece of black sting ray skin. The handle features a vampire bat menuki.

The blade balances right at the turk's head knot. Very lively in the hand!

The knife is extremely sharp, so be careful! ;)

- 1095
- 60 HRC
- Prominent hamon
- Extremely lightweight
- Mirror finish
- Extremely high double hollow grind
- Skeletonized tang
- 15" OAL, actual cutting edge of about 9.5"
- Extremely secure kydex sheath
- Razor Sharp

Thanks for looking! :)

Thanks guys!

If the weather cooperates tomorrow, I'll post some better pictures. I was really struggling to get decent pictures today.

That is beautiful. that looks like a slightly more reserved version of the swamprat waki, and i love it. this deserves to sell.

Many thanks! Glad everyone seems to like it!

I've updated the photos as I had better light today.
