Whisky anyone?????????

mmmmmm....Makers Mark.....I think I'll have another glass in honor of this thread...:D...I do prefer single highland malts to other whiskys, but when its $32 for a 1.75 litre bottle of Makers Mark I won't complain....Its good whisky at a good price...:D

Double shots of Jack, were my trade mark years ago! That and all his friends got me into more trouble than I can account for. Don't know how many nights I got to stay in the local tanks, free eats and sleeps! Don't recommend over nights or longer stays in them places. The only thing I eat, sleep or drink comes from Bill W now. 8 years and counting, God bless every day of them!

More power to the men who can do it. My hats off to em! I settle for a cold soda or a strong cup of coffee today! That and a drawer full of cold INFI steel! :D

I usually drank mostly beer,,but I love a good whiskey:eek:

I usually drank beer nightly after i close my shop ;

1). Dos Equis XX amber (Mexican Import) 'excellent Beer
2). Bud Light

I love Johnnie Walker Scotch whiskey's

Red, Black, Blue label
never tried the Gold or green label yet

I always keep a bottle of Johnnie Walker red in the trunk on my 4 wheeler to keep me company when i go riding out in the bush and camping( almost every weekend:D ),

I also like Jack Daniel whiskey

but I drink all my whiskeys neat,, (straight)

in my opinion,,thats the only way to drink a good whiskey.

My South Alabama brother-in-law was still single and the proverbial "good ol' boy" when I once gave him a pint of Wild Turkey. He kept the bottle for years. Before going to a party, or hanging out with the other GOB's, he would fill it with the cheapest whiskey he could find. He told me that his buddies would take a shot, grimance, shiver, and say, "Man, that Wild Turkey is good stuff!":D

I tried a sampler pack of Johnny once..it had red, black, gold and blue...man what a treat....drank the Blue on a cold December morning at a Raiders game...My most favorite is the Islay single malts...nice and peaty. My limit is about $80 bucks.... Bowmore 17, Caol Ila 18.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm:D Glenmorangie is a great highland..you can't go wrong with the 12...for about $40 bucks. John

I'm a huge fan of Glenlevit. Their standard 12 year and the 18 is amazing. Right now, though, I'm too poor. For a cheap scotch McClellan's single malt is pretty good.

Maybe I just haven't developed a taste for any of the Johnny Walkers (haven't tried the blue). The ones that I've tried didn't inspire me to buy one of their more expensive bottles. What can I say? I'm glad that somebody likes it. :)

Drink up!!

My dad has a big ol cupboard full of wiskey. On the way down to Kentucky, we got a bottle of 12 year old Balvenie (sp?) and a bottle of Knob Creek. I dont drink, but I do like the smell od Scotch better than other liquors.

"I love scotch! Scotch, scotch, scotch!"

I love Anchorman.....

Well, I just tried some 15 year old Glenlivit, and I guess I'm not old enough yet (only 17). My 20 year old brother took a sip and said "Thats pretty smooth." and then took another. Then my dad goes "No, your not supposed to like it, your just supposed to taste it!" :D

Just picked up a fifth of Elijah Craig--me likes. It costs about a 10th of the JWB that every one's talking about. Got to balance the booze to knife ratio if I want to pick up that Hell Razor.
