White Lightning Metal Brite

On my 01 fixed blade, would waxing/buffing with Metal Brite be a suitable replacement for mineral oil for rust prevention? It's great at getting corrosion off, but can it stop it from forming as well as oil?

Well, it says it protects.

I've not read any reviews of this product in regard to corrosion protection.

IMO, I'd add a coat of car wax after getting the shine back (if you don't want to go the keep 'er oiled route).
