white lightning question

Hi, just recently found some white lightning clean and lube kits. Used as best I know how and on my metal liner folders worked great, but on my two delica's (ie zytel framed) the action ended up tougher, is there something I am doing wrong, and has anyone else noticed this? I am thinking it doesn't work well metal to plastic, but makes no sense...note I recleaned and lubed several times, action not gritty just harder and doesn't seem to break in. Thx in advance for any opinions.
