This is the size knife that I like to carry on a deer hunt: light weight, very sharp, comfortable in the hand and a nice size for field dressing.

Mostly stock removal from 1/8 inch 52100 steel with a forged texture on the flats
Flat grind with a mat finish and a long clip
Stabilized maple handle
Overall length: 8 inches
Blade: 4 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop

Gerry, received the hunter. Your description in the first paragraph is spot on but it's a great size and profile for many tasks in addition to field dressing. Thanks for a fine knife.
