Sorry for the confusion Kerry. The scales are Sambar..... the animal it will skin is Whitetail.

Your right, that would be a treat to find Whitetail antler solid enough and big enough for a 4 1/2" BP.

I had a major deja vu...I think I fell for that "whitetail special" name once before. That stag kinda looks like WT antler.
