Hello dear friends,
With God's good will today i present you what i see being the best whittling blade i ever made (just my personal opinion)
Even though this is not a fancy knife it is for sure a very well fitted for the task knife with very crisp fit and very stylish in it's simplicity.
Wolfram special high carbon tool steel at 64 hrc is used for the blade while the grind is a very fine scandi zero with no second bevel; on the back a fake grind was used for the front part in order to make precision whittling even more easier.
For the handle i used a very nice piece of Carpathian stag antler that has the a close to perfect natural form for a very comfortable and safe grip; the 'pearls' and nutty color goes very well with the blade.
The hidden tang is a 90% pass through leaving only little bit in the end to mask it
Everything is set with epoxy for a flawless fit.
Although simple in design as i said before, the knife gives the user a unique stylish feeling when in hand, it's real 'feel to the eye' i was not able to capture with my limited photo skills
