Who all bought a SWICK?

SMC in my humble attempt to cord wrap my swick, I used a similar technique as your red corded one, although I took the end piece and ended it in a knoted fob.

That would probably look a lot nicer. I just never got good at tying fobs:o

The ends of mine are tucked underneath the wrap itself(a royal pain in the a**)

I've only got two as of now. I'd like at least one more, preferably five total, so I can have one in each color I'd use.

One black, one blue, one green, one red, and one color I've not determined yet;)

Soon to be 2- I just ordered my first Spyerco knife. :) The Pickle will be my second when it comes out.

Congrats on your first.

I gotta keep my mouth shut, or there will be no more SWICKs left for me:eek:

Ah cool that way you can have one to match all your purses....:D ;)

No I did mine in Neon Yellow chalk line...so I can't really make fun.:p

How about a neon color?

If you promise publicly to post pictures of the results, I will send you a modest length of any one of the following paracord colors:

royal blue
black
white
silver
neon yellow
neon pink
neon green
neon orange
imperial red
kelly green
purple

Please, everyone, this is not an offer for everyone to knock on my door asking for paracord handouts. Just smcfalls13, since he seems interested in experimenting with how to wrap a Swick.

I recommend that you look up a knot called the Knife Lanyard Knot, also called the Diamond Knot. It's a form of coreless Turk's Head and as the name suggests, it's commonly used to end the strands of a lanyard. You should probably be able to Google some instructions on how to tie it. It comes out pretty cool.

PM me if you are interested in having me mail you some cord. I'm feeling generous. :p

Oh that's mandatory of course:cool: but I need to get more SWICKs first. Neon green would be highly entertaining:D No need to send me paracord, I've got plenty for now, but I will have to check which colors I have, in case you've got one I don't.

Awesome, thanks for the advice, I'll check it out.

Too late. NGK is out:(

But there's still a few other places that have them.

I got one recently and I am very impressed by how natural/comfortable is in the hand. I wish Spyderco had provided a cord or clip for the sheath.

I got mine at bestknives. Price is great and I've always found their service to be good.

Anyone know who still has the swicks in stock I need to get another

knifecenter still has them, and there is an Ebay seller who also has them as well, for around the same price NGK had them.

Run a search for Spyderco SWICK on Ebay, there are two sellers with them, avoid the one with 100% feedback.

Thanks. How is Knifecenter I haven't bought from them before

Excellent service and quick shipping. Prices are slightly higher than NGK, but not unreasonable.

I've bought several CLB SUBCOMs from them, with no problems.

Apart from having to pay tax(they're in my state) they were great.

Thanks for the info I just gave my Marine buddy my swick so now I really need to get another

Yeah, Knifecenter is relatively okay priced, but they do indeed get the shipping done pronto. I have ordered from them a lot in the last five years or so. One thing I have to say is that I have not found a more comprehensive and easily searchable knife website than Knifecenter. I can't say enough good stuff about that aspect of their operation.

I posted this is another thread, but I currently have my Swick mounted to the seatbelt stalk in my car (just to see how I like it there).

3M has this 'kinda' like velcro but way better' stuff (sorry; I forget what they call it) that I have affixed several small knives in my car at strategic locations (a K-Bar TDI...the new TDI's are awesome...a Ryan Plan B, and an original SPOT). Until I buy a second SWIFT, that one will have to wait (I only have my Concept model (Safe-Baby...now), and the one I carry daily on my person. I still think the SWIFT is the best small personal carry knife on the market (& I own a KISS, the knives mentioned above, a LaGriffe, and several 'pocket knives'...the SWICK would be the first choice in a pinch). Be well, Knife-Knuts!

I got one of these in a trade about two weeks ago and have been carrying it ever since. Its seen a bunch of utility use making last minute costume mods for a production I was in recently and its SD qualities are clear and excellent. Nice job Spyderco this one is great, now how about a karambit along the same lines.
