That will be the ones that had acquired HI Khukris in.............say last 3 months.................

I can count......SASSAS.........and Carter Leffen........and me :o

and there maybe others as well.............. :)

A little something about my 1st Khukri..............

It's a 15 inches Bura special...............18oz..........with simple lines....and curves so ever graciously...........no swords of sheba...........just 1 line along the thick part of the ridge.........

when I look at from the spine.............I'd swear that I saw the blade curves to the right.....then curves back to the left............but when I measured it...............turned out to be straight........

It had felt so ............so ever organic.........to me...........so graceful and elegant yet it is not......for sure not factory.............that it was breathened wit life...........that it shall have it's own destiny and purpose........

It grew on me.........at 1st it had felt clumsy and heavy.............. :o

Sorry not used to big knifes or any knifes at all...............

Now after a few days it felt comfy......and fast......so it grew on me....

I HAVE GOT A GREAT BLADE......................as a new comer.... :o

Welcome Rat and James Ray and everyone. Stick around. See if you can't find something in common with the loons in the Cantina.

This is easily the one that I missed that I regret most. That pen knife is absolutely gorgeous.

beautiful and functional. If i were going into the service, that would be the fixed blade i would take. It does so much in such a small package.

Me! I'm new! But you'd never know it, cuz I'm hardly ever around.

I lurk a lot more than I post...mostly because I rarely have anything worthwhile to add to the topics. We have such wise and excellent people here, and I'd rather learn from them than make a pest of myself.

Start talking more, Tycho.

I got my first one last month. I'll get my next one next month. :)

Thus it begins...

Hi
Got my first one in August, a gelbu special, got its first real test two days, when the snow storm knocked trees down all over town.it was slicin and dicin like a cook on tv.
so far I've enjoyed the experience.wish this forum was around 30+ years ago,I could have saved the taxpayers 11 years of public education.Just needed the one year to read, rite, and do sums :D

have a good day

Munk,

We ALL have this in common... We like sharp, shiny, pointed pieces of metal... That means we also have commonality with archers, swordsmen, pikemen, and axemen... ;) :) Now, isn't that wonderful?

Now, all we need is a time machine... ;) :) :D :D :D

Carter

P.S. Dave Rishar for head of the Away Team... You can count me in too...
