Decided to shelve my nursing career .... I ALWAYS wanted to help people ... Married my honey and decided to be a full-time Mom instead.

Well, hopefully when I get medically cleared, I will be a Surgical Technologist again.

Graduated from High School,
joined the Army (Basic and AIT at Ft. Sill Oklahoma),
spent some time in Washington (9th ID, 15th ENG BN),
spent some time in south Korea (2nd ID, 2/72 AR BN),
Gulf War veteran (101st ABN DIV),
got married to a female Soldier (I love a woman with an assault rifle)
did a bunch of odd jobs until I decided to go back to school.

Currently I'm a Radiographer (aka Radiologic Technologist, RT(R), Imaging Technologist, Rad Tech, or just plain old X-Ray Tech) at a hospital.

If you happen to be in Gaston county NC, and you're unlucky enough to get shot or stabbed, have a heart attack, have kidney stones, have a stroke, get assaulted, have abdomen pain, have a car wreck, break any bones, or otherwise get Fu@ked-up, you might see me in the ER or in the OR.
I'll be the Rad Tech carrying a black-blade Spyderco Delica.:)

Good luck,
Allen.

47 year old blimp groundcrewman, nomadic lifestyle. Backpacking and hiking for hobbies. Not formally educated. Distracted by shiny objects.

54 year old attorney in Central New York (general practice-estates, few criminal cases, wills, business law, domestic relations), married for over 30 years (not easy, on either of us), parent of two children, ADK 46R (climbed all 46 of the High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains with my trusty SAK Tinker), Boy Scout leader, and a bunch of other stuff that would put you to sleep.

OK, I'll add my 2 cents. I'm 42 years old, married for the past 18 years. We have two great kids, a son 10 and daughter 6. Oh yeah, and a really wimpy German Shepherd (see a theme in this thread? :p ).

I've spent most of my professional career as an economist and financial consultant. I currently work as a VP for a global Christian humanitarian relief and development organization (translation: we raise donations and use them to do things like feed people, vaccinate kids, build schools, drill water wells, etc.)

I really dont like my college but im trying to be optimistic about being here because im gonna be stuck here for a while. It could be worse though. I am also majoring in Physical Education and i hope to teach at the high school i graduated from. (White Plains High)
I love working out, being a health nut, and spending time with my friends and girlfriend. I also love Fishing, occasionally hunting, and just being outdoors.
