I bought one of the forum knives, still sitting in the tube..except for an occasional wipe down and oiling. The pull is pretty stout.

Love mine. One of the best (if not THE best) pocket knives I own, based on overall satisfaction with it.

The stag on this one is just perfect for what I like - very evenly matched slabs, thickness-wise, plenty of color, relatively smooth texture. The blade has a nice smooth action and is a great size and shape. I've pocket carried this one a few times and it has done a few light cutting chores, but in general it is a shelf king sitting on display. Blade etch still intact.

agreed, when i was first getting into the csc boys knives, they used to have a few on the old a.g. russell site. tootsie roll smooth bone was one of them, but i hesitated and after a bit of time, gone

Ahh it was Barry who did the labels! Man I'd forgotten all about that! He did up a frameable print of it too, have it on my wall above the knife case. At least I remember that much.
