A green rubber handled Buck, about 5 5/8 inches long with sawteeth and serrations on the back side of the clip point. It was made in 1991 according to the logo on the knife. Also has a green camoflage sheath. Anyone know the name of it?
Sounds like the Fieldmate...I think, or possibly the Fieldmaster. Buck quit making them about the time I started selling Buck Knives, "93 or '94. Don't remember the model number though. Hope this helps.

That knife is the Fieldmate. The model number was the #639 I think. We started making that knife in the mid 80's in response to requests for a lighter and less expensive version of our BuckMaster Survival Knife. The sawteeth and the serrations were out of the same fixtures used on the BuckMaster.
