Who carries a neck knife and how long is it?

Speaking of carrying a neck knife, what material do you folks use to carry with? Ballchain?If so, what metal? Paracord? Lanyard? Twine? I want to use a ballchain material that won`t leave a green ring around my often sweaty neck.
Also the only place I can find the Rob Simonich Bitter Root is on his website. I can`t seem to locate one on the links his site provides.

I can't tell you where to get a Bitteroot these days, although people do seem to be finding them. Worth the effort, though!

As far as neck cords... I've had the best luck with stainless steel ball chain. To protect your skin you can take a piece of paracord, remove the interior strands, and thread the chain through inside it.
