Who carries Handmade EDCs? (Roll Call)

I wear either my Darrel Ralph Arclite or Rob Simonich neckknife every day, as well as carrying a Dozier or Neil Blackwood on my belt in a horizontal sheath. Also usually have a Kershaw Random Task or Boye folder in my pocket, sometimes both.

No pics at this time.

Darrel Ralph CF EDC with fighter style blade and or 1 of 4 different Crawfords, French Fighter, Ti Shark, KFF, or Hawkbill folder.

DDR is almost always with me.

Talk about using customs - This is my HUNTING knife. It goes out in the field and gets dirty

Well, I can't find a cool pic to post anywhere, but I talked to Phil Boguszewski today, and my Cobra will be ready next week! That will instantly become my EDC... until Reese finishes my Wasp... then I'll have to rotate every day... until Tom finishes my TNT... then I'll have a dilemma.

I'd have to go count how many folders I own now... maybe 40 or 45? About 1/2 of them are custom, and none of them are off limits for carry at this point.

Some of the nicer ones (Broadwell Springbok, Kious Gents folder, Centofante, etc) are carried in a leather pouch.

I would send them back to the maker to be reconditioned if I chose to sell the nice ones for some reason.

I must have another 40+ fixed blades. Two of those will likely never be used, both Broadwell masterpieces.

Anyway, to each his own. I get great satisfaction from carrying the folders I own, and from using nearly all of the fixed blades that I own.

I heard that Doc. Tom Mayo recurve in my pocket also. 3 1/2" full blade, 8" oal. Displacement will require quite a fine knife.

I currently carry either a Brian Tighe ALO with CF scales, a Fred Perrin fancy classic La Griffe, or Bruce Evans damascus skinner (all fixed blades, the Evans I have recently posted in the Gallery forum). Mostly the Evans skinner, as this is the newest.
Plus production folders (Spyderco, Benchmade, Victorinox, CRKT) as beaters.

Where do you find all these custom makers? And how much do you pay for a custom folder? I like the looks of most of these that you've all posted, but I don't know where to get one. Do most custom makers have websites? Thanks!

The back pages and ads in the major knife mags have the sites of most of the big makers.

Check them out and watch your wallet.

I have a Mayo TNT that should be here in about 3.5 months as well as a Brend Tactical Folder that I will have in 4-4.5 months that will both be EDCs.

I also picked up a Brend neck knife that has not left my side since Blade Show... It will be a constant companion of mine from now on, regardless of what other knives I have on me.

Before the Blade Show it revolved around a couple of Darrel Ralph MM's, Crawford Covert, and Dozier Buckhunter. Blade Show changed that! Sold both MM's, took the Covert to Pat for him to take back and replace the ironwood scales with stag, ( as soon as it comes back, it will be my daily carry!!, LOVE THAT STAG!!)

I now carry a large Sebenza wood inlay with ironwood. Also have a trade going to pick up a second large 'benza with satin finished blade and dual thumb studs. Quess I will carry this one also.
