Who carries more than one knife at a time?

Usually not more than one per pocket, and on my cargo pants that means 7. Buck 110 on the belt along with a Leatherman Super Tool which has two blades in it. An Eisenhower in my watch pocket for envelopes and threads. TA Davison in the left front because its my newest. John Lloyd one off in the left cargo pocket because its one mean folder but still pocket knife size. Rough Rider canoe in the right cargo pocket because I don't mind getting tape on its blades. Still leaves room for a KH back-pocket when I feel like it and if I'm really getting itchy I can throw a trapper or stockman into the front right pocket too.

I usually tell myself - you never know!

I will cut it down every now and then, tell myself I'm packing too much stuff around. But I usually have a heavy work knife in the left cargo and a light knife in the watch pocket and I've just come so used to having the 110 and the leatherman on my belt I don't even notice them unless I'm changing pairs of pants. In the wintertime I usually have a flashlight on the belt also.

Why carry knives in super steels if you need more than one?

I like having a small slipjoint for most things and a spyderco sage 2, gayle bradley or lefty military for larger tasks. I carry two knives max. The slipjoint is better for almost everything I do but taking down boxes is easier with a larger blade.

I'm carrying three at the moment: Böker Plus XS in right front pocket, SAK in left front pocket and Kershaw skinning knife in custom kydex/w teklok at 11' on my belt.
Each one for different jobs
 
Most of the time i only carry one knife but sometime i get wild, like :
- Police 3 right front pocket (often used for food) , Streetbeat as a necker , Rajah II IWB in my back
- Southfork as a necker (YEP!), Streetbeat tucked to a belt loop but left in right front pocket with the lanyard outside, Delica SS S in right front pocket aswell
- RAT3 on belt in horizontal carry on my belly left side, Chinook 1 in right front pocket, Millie IWB in my back

Oh and i forgot my Vic minichamp tucked to my Klarus Mi X6 as a keychain.
 
large folder in the right front pocket. pacific salt h1 (the largers black version) in the right side wasit band. and a wave multi tool with bit kit, preon 1, extra battery all in the sheath on the left hip. and i also have a classic neon yellow sak in the watch/change pocket.

looking to add a izula soon though.

i usually have 2 knives and a sak though, the multitool rides in the bag depending on what im wearing that day. today its with me on the belt though
