Who carries their izula without the wrap or handles?

Butt-ass nekkid.

I love the grip on the H.E.S.T., but it feels good nekkid, too. But I keep the scales on it. Izula is totally nekkid. As others have pointed out, it's just the greatest, handiest knife, slim...that's why I wanted the thing in the first place!

But you guys that are wrapping them up and doing other things with it are doing really good stuff. As the other Brethren pointed out, that's what is so nice about a knife like this, it can be what you want it to be or what you need it to be.

This is my handle set up. But, I've since stripped the coating off. I have a neck sheath, belt and pocket sheath so it can be my EDC no matter the conditions or UOD.
 
I have 3 and though I think the best 'feeling' one in hand is with my full length tiger eye scales, I used to think wrap was the way to go but when I got my full length scales is was a whole other knife...

with that said, I carry one naked as a neck knife most the time......

but again I really don't use it when carried like that, merely just as a back up......
 
Mine is naked - I had several different paracord wraps and also tried a leather wrap - all had a distinct feel, but I prefer the minimal profile of the skeletonized handle for the Izzy for pocket carry. If I had it on a belt or something it may be a different story...

I have a stunt IZULA that I put the scales on and used a small cross cut bastard file to do the rough shaping. Then a single cut one until I had it exactly where I wanted it. A little emery cloth to smooth it out more, then transfered it to the IZULA you see there. The fun part was cutting all the sheaths to accomodate the knife.

I should take fresh pictures because now I used phillips head screws and stripped the finish off the knife.

I carry mine without any wrap or add-on scales.

I like the ESEE scales, but I just love the utility and simplicity of the Izula just as it came to me.

I started off with the wrapped handle, then made scales. I really like having the scales on the Izula for the positive grip I get. That said I also have a naked Izula that I carry on my belt with Paracord belt loops. Once you put the Izula on with this set up, it is easy to forget it is there.
 
mines butt neked just like the way it come from Rowen....I like it like that around my neck.....
