I have an old "Heritage" series Schrade trapper from 1983 that I have always carried during deer season. I love the steel in that one. Probably done about 15 deer with it.
Grin...LOL..I didn't even know there was another way to clean a deer or wild hog than my trusty old yellow handled CV Case trapper. I have been hunting for 30 years (damn I'm getting old) and have always used a slip joint and always will. If any of you have had the pleasure of skinning a wild boar with tough shields you know it takes a tough knife and skinner with lots of patience to get it done...Not counting you stink like a wild hog for a month afterwards...Hmm maybe that's why we only have one child...
