I have a GEC for which I would like to replace the stock bone covers with either primitive bone or mammoth ivory. I looked through the vendors here at BF but didn't see anyone advertising such a service. Any suggestions?

We have a bunch of talented knifemakers here in our crowd. Well, there are several that come in mind. I, in your case, would ask Brian.Evans or esnyx. Well maybe one of the custom makers could help like Ken Erickson (sp?) or Mr. Dowell (sp?).

Which makers have you almost checked?

And Esnyx has 2 items in the traditional section on the exchange, if you would like to see some of his work. Great Stuff!
