Who designed the 124 Frontiersman?

I was lookin at one of my 124s today and it came to me, that in all the discussions about this knife, I do not remember anyone saying who designed the knife. So per the title question, who designed the 124?

Do you have a copy of the Tom Ables book, "The Story of Buck Knives"? It talks about this knife on page 55, it dose not say at Buck who did the design. However, did say it took nearly a year refining it. Also, did you know the Nemo & Frontiersman are the same knife, Nemo came with a plastic sheath of divers water use and the Frontiersman came with a leather sheath?

If you are a member of the BCCI...Buck Collectors Club, there are a few news letters with some very good information.

Thanks for the info, seems like no one has ever talked about who designed this knife, hince a great question for a discussion forum. Who ever designed it and whom ever at Buck tweeked it, did a great job. I think it may have been a team of people at Buck but since I don't have the exact answer, that is only a guess on my part.
 
That's because it was a design team and not just one persons knife. But, you wont know if you don't ask, Rome was not built in a day.....so I'd guess you will have to wait to see what Joe H has to say.

Thank you Sir, I ask this question and other questions in the past because I really like the 124. Either a person or a team of persons did a very good job designing this knife.
 
I'd like to thank my writers, my stage crew, my mom and dad, my lovely wife, all the investors, my security team and the many other people who helped me with this.
 
I hope I got this right, Frank Buck is Chuck's Nephew and he died in 1974, is this correct? I found a few Bowie style knives he designed and one had a guard like the Frontiersman.
