Who designed the tilt?

Probably been asked and answered before somewhere, but I can't find anything. I've heard that it was Tim Galyean, but it doesn't have his makers mark, looks to have another one on it (assuming that's what that little arrow in the circle is.) Plus I figure if it were designed by him, they'd say that it was. If anyone knows for sure, I'd like to know, used to own one so I've always been curious.

Actually I don't know :o
But the circle thing is KAI's symbol that appears on all (except the 0560CBCF) their composite blade

It seems that either the collaborating designer's name is on the ZT blade or it's an in-house design.

It was an in house design by a designer who worked for KAI before me.

Considering how many people still talk about that knife to this day, I think he should be proud.

Tim made a number of great designs for us, but I believe all of his knives are marked as "Tim Galyean Design"

He should be proud. He designed one of the most iconic knives in Kershaw history. Possibly the entire knife industry.

Is it possible to publish a list of designer-employees who work for KAI? I think it would be kind of cool to see who is behind some of the design aspects and features in a lot of the various models I like.

That's because the TiLT is SO freaking awesome.

And yes, Tim's designs say "Tim Galyean Design"

The ergos were perfect on it. Im not a fan of wharnies though. But I don't think Amy other blade shape would have worked on it.

It would be a perfect knife if the choil didn't exist, or if it was smaller............It'd have a massively awesome blade :D

I like choils. Wish the 0560 came with one. I could go with a smaller tilt though. It was too light for how big it was IMO.

To each their own. But IMO I like having a huge knife in my pocket, without it being a boat anchor.

You know what? I think I'm going to carry my TiLT for a week straight  :p
This is going to be a toughy.
