  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Who designed the tilt?

With the angular shape they look like they wouldn't fit the hand well but because of the size it extends out of the hand like it is an extension of your body. I initially tried to not like them because of price based on the shape in pictures but then handled one in person. The bearings are terrific also and the only smoother opening knife I've handled is a 0777. I think the strong detents have a lot to do with that as it really makes a knife crack open. I happen to like opening the Skyline with the studs though because for me the geometry gives me that same launching of the blade when I push past the breaking angle as if I was breaking past tension on a detent.

You mean blade stops ;).

I actually like opening the Skyline with the blade stops as well. It flies out a lot faster than the flipper, but it makes me feel like I'm going to throw the knife somewhere.
