I responded to a thread yesterday evening saying I would take two knives. Claimed them in the forum and followed that up immediately with a private message. Did not hear anything by the time I went to bed. Got up this morning and to my surprise, the knives were sold to someone else. I know we are to pay promptly, which I always do. But you gotta give a person a chance to see a private message before selling something out from under them.

Did you check that members feedback , seems he has a history of doing this .
 
There isn't a rule who had to sell to who, for any reason. No rule was broken.

I agree it's bad practice to skip folks without at least saying why, though.
 
I agree he can sell to whomever he wants, but to me it’s pretty shitty to tell you the knives are yours, then sell them out from under you with no warning or reason. Again, he can do it according to the rules but there’s no rule that says you have to buy from someone like that either.
 
Did he go back and delete all of his posts in that sale add? Yeah, that’s not shady at all… (insert eye roll here) Nevermind, I just realized I put him on ignore. Yes I’m a dumbass… 🤣
