Who EDCs a RAT and Where?

Carried an izula for three days as a neckpiece. The Dutch aren't ready for that yet... (I live in the Netherlands). My pocketknife is acceptable for everybody, but when carrying one around your neck, that's something totally different apparently.

I pretty much always have my Izula neck rig under my shirt everyday now.

Hello,

Not only the Dutch. Many people feel better in front of a large folder than a small FB.
Why don't you carry it in your pocket ? Unless you don't have pockets, low profile is the only way in Europe... There is such a psychomania about knives nowadays... Everybody is so nervous.
If you keep it on the neck, just put a layer of clothes to hide it from view.

cheers

I got my RC3 RP knife on the 1st of January and I love it-nice small profile that fits right in my pocket. I carry it in pocket with my HEST on the other side, simple, easy and doesnt' cost me anything extra for fancy mounting solutions.

My Hest with its pocket configuration *.
(*The cord stopper is used as a plug on the lip of the pocket and it's works great for low profile. A push from the thumb and the knife is free.
As the sheath stay up of the pocket, it's easy resheated...)

...My pocketknife is acceptable for everybody...,

I wish it were. I've even seen a few former colleagues - who both own (licensed) firearms - frown upon my wood-inlaid small Sebenza. If there's a more sheeple-friendly knife than that, please inform me.

You're brave to have at least tried the neck-option!

i carry one everyday usually. anywhere i go that isnt a govt building or somewhere else like a store. BS laws telling me a i cant carry a cutting survival tool on me.

My izula rides in my EDC backpack, but I keep a tether on it so if needed I can drop it right front pocket tac-tether style. I generally carry a folder, but it is nice to have a dedicated fixed blade.

I have the RC-4 and the Izula. I carry the Izula everywhere I go even to work. I carry it on my belt horizontally near the belt buckle using paracord. I don't even know it's there and no one else does either. When I carry my RC-4 it is harder to conceal and it is heavier.

Been looking at the Izula and RC3 as potential EDC fixed blades. Curious to hear some feedback about each before I purchase one. Who EDC's one and what's your carry setup?

Also if anyone happens to own a Swick and wants to take a comparison photo of the Swick and Izula I'd appreciate it.

I EDC my RC-3.

I wear it inside of my belt, outside of my pants, because it pulls the handle in very tightly to my side. It goes on my left hand side, setup so that I can draw it reverse grip blade foward in my right hand or standard grip left hand.

Edited to add:

I bought an Izula at the same time as my RC-3 but it now sits in my bugout bag as a backup survival knife. It's just too small for me to carry.

Izula around the neck, Kershaw Zing in my pocket (until the Izula folder comes out)

I EDC the izula in my pocket when I feel my sebenza could be lost or stolen.

However, it is always in my EDC bag.
