I recently bought matching Endura 4 and Delica 4 FFG plain edge knives. The Delica 4 I was familiar with as I have replaced 2 in the past, and I love those. I previously had bought but did not like an Endura Partially Serrated Combo Edge, so I sold it. Now the Endura 4 FFG plain edge that I got is the perfect knife for me. I was wondering who else out there carries it. I have had, Pacific Salt, Manix 2, Military and I now believe the Endura 4 will be my favorite for a long time. I like the fact that it's not made of overly expensive materials but yet functions just as well as others. I think I'm addicted now!

I got one and love it. the only thing that bugs me is how un-smooth it is. while opening it slowly i can feel a definite "staging" at 1/2 and 3/4 open. adjusting pivot screw has done nothing for me and neither has oil. is this the case with anyone else?

but all in all the thing performs amazingly well. i think the dimensions in every regard are absolutely perfect for me. i am an amateur sharpener at best and with a basic wally world tools i can put a scary sharp edge on the it.

I only carried my endura on hikes until I heard about the dad saving his son from the mountain lion. The Endura FFG in grey became a weekend blade or single carry blade. The grey blends in with my jeans better than my stretch. My combo edge Endura 4 has become a car blade. The endura is a knife ( 3 of them) I have even if it's too big for edc. I'm waiting for the black frn handle in ffg to come out.

Guilty. I EDC them and I think they are great. I especially love that they have no choil. Very rare indeed:)

I sold mine and I miss it a lot. Going to wait for the black frn version of the delica and endura to come out and will buy both.

I bought one when they first came out. It seemed like everyone on the forum was expecting them to cut like lazers. Mine did not cut very well at all. The geometry wasn't very good I guess. The spine was thicker that I expected, but whith a FFG I thought that it would cut alright. When cutting the blade would get wedged in the cut and I'd have to pull the blade out and start the cut again. I ended up selling or trading it and keeping the Cold Steel American Lawman that I got around the same time. The slightly hollow blade grind on the lawman cuts much much more effectively through things like card board, foam and gasket material. I also was not impressed with the VG-10 on my endura. I ended up with chips in the blade after cutting about 10 feet of very heavy card board. YMMV

They are a great value. I have one that I carry sometimes. Nowadays I prefer the smaller Delica. It's a better slicer due to the thinner blade. And I have better control of the tip.

Endura is one of my favorite knives if not THE favorite. The most recent version with ffg is outstanding knife for the money. I have a brown frn just like the one pictured above that gets carried and used often.

Mine is for Summer carry. The Endura and Native models carry well in the extreme heat here. (115ish)

For Winter, the bigger heavier models come into play.

The ZDP Endura is my favorite. It's one of the best knives out of Seki City. I'm probably biased though. :D

i have carried the endura for over 15 years now. My right front pocket feels naked without it. I have carried every version of the knife and think it is one of the best all around designs. It is an excellent blend of price, utility, and protection. I have always been bummed that its not an american knife. I just recieved a military g10 camo today and will be carrying edc a spyderco other then an endura for the first time. hope it works out.

I have a man crush on the Endura. I think I have 10 of them. I'd prob. EDC one everyday, but I teach at a Jr. High so I usually carry a UKPK which rides much lower and with the wire clip looks like a pen.
