Depends upon the day, and what is going on. Maybe a pair of Becker #18s, an Ek44 and Ek45, or if things really bad, two other, longer blades. Never carry just one, just like you should never carry just one firearm. To do so, limits your options.
 
Short answer OP, is everybody, life is hard, it's even harder on our machines, just look at old farm equipment, or when you're trying to start your vintage firebird, when and if life truly gets so hard, and bad, that you "need" to leave
You'll take your favorite folder out of your amassed collection, but you'll grab a fixed blade too. Because a folding knife breaking down during a moment of dire need is no joke
