I love this knife. I'm buying a new edc. I just couldn't wait till the spring run so I got something else. Too bad for me. Did I mention I love that Critter.

I'm never without this little guy here around my neck I call it the dpm-2.5. ( short for drop point micro, 2.5" long ) I made it out of a hobby file, the blade is 1" and the handle is 1.5". It's about 1/16" thick , and with the file teeth still present it works excellent with a pinch grip. ( the file was listed as bearing steel whatever that is ) but it's a fairly hard steel that seems to have a good deal of carbon in it ( because it rusts ) and it holds an edge very well. So I wouldn't hesitate to make a 4th or 5th knife out of these little 1$ files .

Although the TSA highly frowns upon my carriage of it (...or any other knife for that matter) at work, my Spyderco SE Aqua Salt is with me whenever I'm not. Lately, I've been carrying it vertically, weak side, utilizing the supplied G-clip. I wish the mounting point was just a touch lower, but it disappears nicely under a jacket or un-tucked shirt.

OKAY, that's really cool.

You'd really be surprised how useful a knife like this is and how many things it can cut that you might think it's too small for. One cool thing is that I often get asked about my necklace which people have no idea is a knife. ( before I made this one a month ago I had carried a 2" sheep's foot version for the past 2yrs, but had decided I needed to make a new one and do a much better job ) I called that one the LF-2 ( since a lamb is a baby sheep, it stands for lambs foot-2" long ) I always carry a primary folder and a little secondary folder as well, but I love little neck knifes like this for when it can take more time to draw a folder than the cutting task takes to perform, and these just take a simple pull.

This Upper Class White Trash, by Bradshaw, is probably my favorite fixed blade carry. It's made of 52100, sporting carbon fiber bolsters and brown canvas micarta, for the handle, with brass fasteners and tube. I carry it inverted in my left front pocket, with the static cord attached to the 9 o'clock belt loop.

Second place would likely go to my newest, a Bark River Featherweight Fox River with Elmax and maroon linen micarta. It rides comfortably high on the belt, cross draw, just in front of the 9 o'clock belt loop, in its excellent sheath.

That's very nice. Those scales hurt at all? Looks like with some rough use they might start to dig a little.

I haven't hard used it yet, but so far they are more comfortable than I expected. I've heard some guys report that the scales are uncomfortable, so I was expecting to have to radius the scales' edges, but so far I don't think I'll have to. We'll see as time goes on...

Thank you for the reply. Those grips look really aggressive in the pic. As usual your knives are beautiful to see.

Actually none of the knives I've seen in this thread are lacking in their beauty. I haven't seen a knife yet that I haven't liked. All of you keep up the good pics. I'm going to have to take out a loan to try to find all of these for myself.

This is my EDC. Cole 'Tag' blade in 135wcrv4 steel a vintage German ultra high carbon tool steel that hasn't been produced since the 70s. 63-65hrc. Generates more power than it has any right to because your strength comes down vertically against the butt like a paring chisel. I made this for myself because I wanted a fixed blade that would carry smaller in the pocket than say a ZT0350 and yet maintain functionality over a sensible range of tasks.

Apologies for the crap sheath.

JoshRG on the knife maker forums here. I'm with Kitten Party on this one. I carry my Bantam model of his almost every day as well. Amazingly built and super thin behind the edge making it just a mean slicer. ;)

Very nice! I am super pleased with mine, the f&f is just top notch and its a fantastic performer to boot. These are a steal at the prices that he is selling them at and I highly suggest anyone on the fence jump on them now as I forsee them getting more expensive sooner rather than later. I saw one go on his instagram in an auction for over $350 recently

I carry my Izula and Esee 4 IWB. I was looking at the Bradford guardian3 but I am not a fan of the sheath. Is there a IWB kydex version or a similar sized knife thats not a 1095 option I could use?
I was thinking of getting something with better corrosion resistance as I love the Esees but don't always want to care about keeping it dry. The guardian3 looks to be perfect size for an EDC.
