I just want to see if I am the only person out there that is addicted to Mixed Martial Arts. I can't seem to get enough of it. I watch everything from Muay Thai to UFC. If you are into it let me know who your favorite fighter is. Mine has to be "The Natural" Randy Couture.

I have to say that Gina Carano is actually my favorite but that just because she is HOT:D. She is also an amazing fighter.

I have to agree with you about Gina Carano. She's also cool in her interviews. I can't wait to see her movie coming out soon.

I have been watching the UFC's for 10 years now. Trained a bit, but wanting to get back into training to stay in shape. always a fan of the heavy weights and my boy, GSP. We flew across the country to see GSP win the tittle in Mkntreal years ago,

On a separate note.. You guys stop talking about my future wife Gina or I'll mma the hell out of you!

There's nothing like watching older Fedor fights on youtube. Overeem will be the next champ too. Can't wait to see him beat on everyone now.

Now Now we all have to be nice here. Besides I mentioned her first so that makes her MINE. :D

GSP is a great fighter. He would have to be in my top 3.

I have been following MMA for six or seven years - my wife and kids are fans, too. I have never been into women's MMA too much, but Ronda Rousey has gotten my attention, as has Miesha Tate. Like Gina, both of them are nice-looking outside of the octagon and seem like nice girls, too. I am definitely going to see Haywire, though.

With the guys, I root for Cro Cop (retired now though), Big & Lil Nog, JDS, Pat Barry, Roy Nelson, Forrest, Machida, Rampage, Overeem, Mitrione, A. Silva, GSP, Kampman, Guida, and Faber. I'm not a fan of J. Jones or the Diaz brothers, although I respect their skill. I also dislike heavyweight fights with a couple of fat guys gassing early (except Nelson, 'cause he has mad skills.)

I'm old school plus I'm partial to BJJ so I like Rickson and Royce Gracie. Plus my Sensei helped train Royce Gracie for the first 3 UFC's.

I've been watching for ~15 yrs.,I love the sport it's awesome #1 Anderson Silva ,esp. in the early days ,I also like Nick Diaz loud-mouth and all, the guy has courage, he puts it on the line ,everytime

I wouldn't say I'm a junkie, but I watch when I can. The guys I came up watching are mostly gone now. Guys like Royce, Hughes, Severn, both Shamrocks, Ortiz, Don Frye, etc. I started with UFC 2 in the 90's. Starting with Royce, I still have a great appreciation for a sudden and unexpected submission. The Brazilian who won the last season of The Ultimate Fighter was pure poetry in motion when he pulled that arm bar out of thin air.

Rickson was my favorite. FYI rumor has it Cro cop is going to fight K-1. LHK is on the way.

Dang... and here I got all excited about a thread on the Mini Muk Anorexic... Dunno much about that other stuff. :o

I have been a boxing fan since the 70's. I have also followed MMA since the very beginning. Way back when there were no weight classes. That was some of the draw for me. It reminded me of my street days. Something of which I have both pride and regret. Anyway, yes I am a great fan and have no real favorite. I am partial to any fighter who has a high ko win percentage as that was my forte'. I guess I like Liddell, Wanderlei and even Fedor. Fedors' ko % is not high but he hits hard without a doubt. Check out his brother Aleksander, he is a very bad dude. Cheers all.

You mean Gina?

We got a new 70 inch 3d TV a few weeks ago. I started getting more into MMA since we have a 3d channel. MMA in 3d is awesome. It's just that much more immersive.

MMA fan here, one thing I like about living in Vegas-all the MMA fights!! who saw this one when it was live- Kimo beats the C@$# out of Royce Gracie, only to fall victim to the submission that made history, an armbar..........which started a jiu jitsu epidemic!!

Best post I have seen since joining this forum!

I would be broke if I lived in Vegas and not because of the casinos. I would be at every UFC, Boxing, Wrestling, Muay Thai, etc..... event that was held there. You lucky Hog.

Been training on and off for about 3 and a half years now in Muay thai, boxing, wrestling, and No Gi jiu jitsu. I love training and learning new techniques but I don't like alot of the culture that you find at most gyms.
