I prefer the round pommel also. My favorite grip is the palm-loaded grip. If I need a skull-crusher I'll use the spine!

I've been thinking about doing that to my SJT for a while... either just the scales or the entire booty.

Never really cared for that 'lobed' recurve in the scales.

I think I would also probably take the recurve out of the fronts of the scales, so they have a single arc.
