So, I was showing my girlfriend my latest sebenza, a plain 21 and telling her all about the seb and the differences over the regular model, a littlebit of history and a 'look at me not spending so much on knives anymore, I'm buying plain versions now' story when I started talking about the green handles...

"Uhmm what? green? It's grey honey.."

what? I thought my ummie was green(ish), and all titanium on the handles of the sebs I have looked kinda greenish, but now I'm not sure anymore... I can see it's grey if I tell my brain it's grey, but my brain wants to see green if I don't tell it to see grey... get it?:D

I'm definitely not colorblind but I'm just curious to see if I'm the only one who sees this. Is it a hue, or a tint of green. Just gray? hmmm, let me know!

Green? Nope. Looks gray to me.

Yep, your the only one that see's green.......they are grey for sure !!!

There is something to the gray-green nexus. I have a gray Chevy Suburban, and last weekend my dad thought it had a greenish hue. I think there is something hidden deep in our brains that makes the two colors overlap just a little. I don't get it, but I don't get most things either.

Perhaps she was referring to the cost (looks green like money) and not the actual color ;)

The titanium I've played with is a gray base. Oils, lighting, dirt, etc... will alter the colors of it. It polishes up to a niiiice silvery gray though. I've had a few of my chainmaille pieces look a very very dull green or blue though. So, don't worry, you're not crazy. :D

You say tomayto and I say tomahto,
You say potayto and I say potahto,
They sey it's grey,
And thay say it's gray,
But I'm always right and that is my motto!

Work on my Poetry skills of course.

Look at it. The poem should flow with meaning.

My Poem seems to have shades of Grey when read with a Poetry critics point of view.

LOL :D
