Ok, so I started a little research to see what's up.

turns out:
genetically some people are more inclined to see one of the color components in the RGB (red green blue) colorspace more dominantly.

to further clarify: a pure gray tint has equal components of Red Green and Blue light (white is full RGB, black is no RGB, gray is all in between where R == G == B

theoretically, pure grey will probably be processed as pure grey, but could be r= 143, g =149, b = 143 (all values from 0-255, see the difference in green?)

also, from wikipedia:
Color constancy
Main article: Color constancy
There is an interesting phenomenon which occurs when an artist uses a limited color palette: the brain/eye tends to compensate by seeing any grey or neutral color as the color which is missing from the color wheel. E.g., in a limited palette consisting of red, yellow, black and white, a mixture of yellow and black will appear as a variety of green, a mixture of red and black will appear as a variety of purple, and pure grey will appear bluish.

My conclusion: if you have enough brains, you could see different colors :D:thumbup::D

I also think it's Gray.

For those who agree, is it Light, Medium or Dark Gray?

I must be carrying the Mood Ring Chris Umnumzaan :D, it changes shades of Gray from one day to the next. :D

(Esav if you read this, replace the Gray with Grey. :D)

I think it depends on the light - sometimes mine look gray while at other times they'll appear grey.

:p

Kinda funny...if I go look at my Sebenza, yes, it's grey. If I think about the knife without looking at it, I think of a greenish hue. I would say I perceive a greenish hue.

There is something to the gray-green nexus. I have a gray Chevy Suburban, and last weekend my dad thought it had a greenish hue. I think there is something hidden deep in our brains that makes the two colors overlap just a little. I don't get it, but I don't get most things either.
Lol, me too :)
The titanium I've played with is a gray base. Oils, lighting, dirt, etc... will alter the colors of it. It polishes up to a niiiice silvery gray though. I've had a few of my chainmaille pieces look a very very dull green or blue though. So, don't worry, you're not crazy. :D
thanks for the reassurance :thumbup::D
They say viagra tints your vision. ;)
Thanks for sharing your experience :D what colors do you see normally? Do you notice anything different after years of use? Let me know!
color is light, no two people see it the same.
I take that as a green

That's exactly what I mean.

On the whole I have to say, that I 'learned' in the past few days to see it more like grey. But there's still some green in my system

When I was in my car today, my plain Classic looked greenish. Inside, with clean flourescent lighting, I don't see even a hint of green. Definately affected by the type of lighting.
