Who else uses a scythe?

I use mine for a slightly different reason.

I have a bamboo sculpture, which is actually secret wrought iron protecting from anyone breaking my window and coming through.

And now the SCYTHE stands silently -- scaring away burglars and bad men -- as it stands entwined between the metal bamboo...View attachment 2964226
I'm having visual difficulty discerning the shape of it. From that photo it almost looks like it's not actually a scythe? Have any other photos?

I have been watching a German made series on You Tube, on Handcrafted items, today it was one on scythe:

"How The Celts Made a Scythe | SWR Craftsmanship"

In German but with English sub-titles. They forge out a scythe blade, looks very labor intensive, carve the handle, all using hand tools. John
