Off Topic Who F-ing cuts themselves hand sanding?!?

I recently cut myself hand sanding when I dropped my WD-40 and reflexively went to catch it. There was a little bit of blade hanging over the edge of the sanding block. Not fun. Since then I've started wearing cut-proof gloves with grippy coating; they weren't expensive, and it gives me peace of mind and lets me look away from the blade while sanding it every so often.

Y'all are unimaginative... I cut myself WITH THE SANDPAPER!
That's how I know I'm trying hard enough. :p

It seems to be really easy for my hand to snag on the tip even when i have it clamped to a piece of wood so i don't accidentally stab myself in the belly basically hand sanding is the ultimate example of murphy's law in action.

Oh s**t. ANYTHING having to do with making a knife is an invitation to Murphy’s law to show itself. Or for that matter a nomination to a Darwin Award if one is not careful ..... :)

Prior to this year, my band-aid purchases were a box every 10 yrs. Now, same time I buy new belts, belt suppliers should add band-aids. .

I got bit by the edge of a fresh 80 grit belt running at a decent speed yesterday. When I came in for some gauze and bandage my daughter looked at me, rolled her eyes, and said, “Again?”
