Who Got Flu?

The flu shot this year does not protect against one type of flu that is going around.
 
I had it, it took a lot of medication, i felt like I was going to throw up the whole time.
 
As a 7th grade science teacher I am exposed to all sorts of nasty bugs! Luckily I haven't had the flu in years, as a matter of fact the late 70's was the last time I can remember the flu. This past month we have had a LOT of students out for several days at a time with the flu. Our enrollment is close to 1000 students grades 6 through 8 and our average absence rate is around 40 students on any given day. This past month that has hopped up to an average of 135 students per day!:eek: \

Knock on wood, but I have not had any problems.:D :) :D
