Who got the "special wood" kerambits?

Welcome Juno!

Just stay tuned here! Probably will be a few weeks, though....

Anyone else notice that the kerambits look like tiny kukuris with loops on the end?

I'm sure glad you did....:D

That was the intention.

Oh, and another thing people here probably don't realize is the reason behind the overall curve of the kerambit. Most kerambits have a dramatic bend in the blade.

When I set out to design this knife, Hibuke asked me to make a "hanshee kerambit"....If you look at hanshees, they have a long sweeping curve - unlike the AK, Sirupati, etc., which have a sharp bend angle - and that was the intention from the first design forward.

The other criteria was a belly in the blade. This would set it apart from regular kerambits and make it distinctively a Himalayan Imports model.

The fullers, now.....that was a stroke of good luck...:D

They are way cool lookin' I'll probably change my mind again and want to keep it when I go to put it in the box. :(

[Be strong, Bryan... ]

to tell the truth my collection has shrunk.
I cant keep my HI products for long.
People over here in Japan LOVE HI khukuris.
(I had to sell one for cash, but the others were given as presents to my Japanese friends and family and teachers)

I own 4 HI knives at tthe moment.
Bowie, kerambit, bdc and RAhanshee.

Im thinking of hiding the kerambit from the eyes of the world, I dont want to lose it.
The BDC is 10 inch and I don't like it cause its too small.
So, if anyone wants to trade, let me know.
I want a 14 inch..
Of course, the YCS is always welcome as well.
