Who has a 4 and a 9??

I've used a 9 for a while now and it's my favorite woods tool ever. Handled a 4 at a store once and didn't care for it. On the plus side the guy working the counter hadn't picked it up so he handled it a bit after I gave it back and he said he was going to have to buy one.

You need a BK9. You can't not have a 9.

The Bk9 is a better chopper for me.
With that being said I really like the Bk4.
The bk4 is lighter and goes with me on all hikes and such.

I have both and I almost sold the BK4 right after I got it. It just didn't seem "right" to me. However, I decided to throw it in my gear one weekend and as I used it, it became very clear how great the design is. Start thinking of it as a hatchet with a useful edge up near the handle and suddenly it becomes quite useful. Right now I'm leaning in favor of the 4, but we'll see as time goes on. I love the 9 and you can't not have a 9.

Got both, haven't even had an opportunity to use the 4 yet, so oft my other knives get ignored because the 2 laughs at their anorexia.

I have a possible trade in the works to acquire one of these beastly 9's; hopefully all goes well with that and I can see what all this fuss is about! Then hopefully Santa will bring me a 4 for Christmas so I can double-fist them around my neighborhood.

Definitely get a 9! If you decide to get a 4 first then you must get a 9 at some point. It really is as awesome as people say and you'll be amazed at what it can do. I think it weighs 18oz and it easily hangs with knives almost twice its size.

I want one of every becker, only have a 2 now. But once funds allow, I will be owning a 4 before all the others. Or maybe a 5 or 15 lol

4 9 more
