who has a business card

If you must have the photo as the bkgnd, use a plain sans serif typeface such as Helvetica, Frutiger, Franklin Gothic, bold or bold condensed.
Then add a black or dark gray drop shadow behind the white type.
That will make it pop out of the photo.
The next thing to make it easier on the eyes and convey info rapidly is to cut down on some of the copy (words), as you have done on your second attempt.
Name, Phone # & email is plenty. Maybe your website.

Any more and I'd have to bill you :D

I choose to use the photo because it makes it easy for some one to visualise what I do. I looked at simpler designs and was unimpressed with them, they were too generic looking to me.

tell me which one is better between these two..same profile..

It depends on what you want.
If you want accurate visual description of an item (e.g. if you would like to sell this specific anvil), then the photo is better. However, is that what you want on a business card?
Or do you rather want people to remember your personal data and give them quick reference what craft you do?

As I said, if you don't like simple drawing, no problem using a photo, just place the item on plain background.
E.g. like these:

Thanks for the feed back guys... It is nice to bounce ideas off of a few heads once in a while.
